To connect your Canon MG3620 printer to WiFi, you can follow one of the following methods:

Method 1: Using the Setup CD-ROM or Canon Website Instructions

  1. Insert the Setup CD-ROM into your computer or follow the instructions on the Canon website to download the latest MP Drivers for your printer model.
  2. Uninstall any existing MP Drivers and install the latest MP Drivers that you downloaded.
  3. During the installation process, select “Use the printer with wireless LAN connection” as the connection method.
  4. The machine will be automatically detected in the network. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Method 2: Using Access Point Mode

  1. Make sure the printer is turned on.
  2. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the ON lamp flashes.
  3. Press the Color button, Black button, and then the Wi-Fi button in that order.
  4. The ON lamp will change from flashing to lit, indicating that the access point mode is enabled.
  5. On your computer or device, enable Wi-Fi and select the network name (SSID) “XXXXXX-MG3600 series” (replace “XXXXXX” with the last six digits of the printer’s MAC address).
  6. Enter the password (network key) when prompted to connect your device to the printer.

Method 3: Using Google Chrome Browser (Google Cloud Print)

  1. Make sure the printer is turned on.
  2. Start Google Chrome browser on your computer.
  3. Sign in to your Google account.
  4. Select “Print…” from the Chrome menu.
  5. Select “Change…” next to Destination.
  6. Select “Canon MG3600 series” in Google Cloud Print.
